We assembled a specialized team with expertise in e-commerce, Southeast Asian languages, and native cultural insights. Together, we compiled a glossary of over 300 key product terms and created a dedicated termbase.

For the Indonesian and Thai markets, we fine-tuned product descriptions, such as changing "red limited-time discount" to "golden auspicious special offer," and incorporated localized imagery to better resonate with local consumers.

By leveraging AI tools, we linked the "source text - translation - product attributes" seamlessly, ensuring translations were not only accurate but also tightly integrated with product features.

Result

Our efforts led to the successful relisting of the products, a reduction in return rates, and a steady increase in conversion rates across Southeast Asian markets.
